We’re excited to highlight our partnership with Bee Gaia through Project Happiness, an organization dedicated to fostering community and connection through the Arts and Wellbeing Programs for over 17 years in SWFL. Together, Autism Collier Charter School and Bee Gaia will be launching a series of innovative arts and wellbeing programs. Classes, workshops, and events designed for our participants (students, their family, and staff). These programs will happen indoor and outdoor (Kindness Bus).

Engaging Programs: Bee Gaia instructors will lead creative sessions that invite participants to explore various multimedia art forms, sparking creativity and self-expression.

Building Community: Through the universal language of art, we aim to build stronger bonds within our school community and like-minded local community and beyond, celebrating diversity and inclusion at every turn.

Autism Collier Charter School (ACCS) is proud to partner with the Autism Collier Resource Center (ACRC), which serves the broader autism community in Collier County. ACRC offers vital services including parent and grandparent support groups, monthly family socials, community and parent education, and local and state advocacy. Sibling and self-advocate groups are also coming soon. Families of ACCS will have direct access to these supports, helping to create a strong, connected, and informed community around each student we serve. Autism Collier Charter School (ACCS) is proud to partner with Special Olympics to bring inclusive, developmentally appropriate programs designed specifically for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. to our students. ACCS will implement several Special Olympics initiatives on campus, including the Young Athletes Program, Little Elites, Rising Stars, and health and fitness programs designed specifically for students with disabilities. In addition to school-based opportunities, Special Olympics offers a variety of community programs that our students are encouraged to explore and participate in, promoting physical wellness, social development, and a strong sense of belonging. Autism Collier Charter School (ACCS) is thrilled to collaborate with The Naples Players, a leader in inclusive and adaptive theatre programming. Through this partnership, ACCS students will participate in inclusive improv classes both on campus and at the downtown Sugden Theatre. Led by specially trained staff from The Naples Players, these sessions use the power of improv to support communication, social skills, and confidence in a fun and creative environment. The Naples Players also offer a range of accessible programs and facilities that continue to make a meaningful impact in the autism community. The Autism Collier Charter School is proud to partner with the Collier County Sheriff's Office’s Autism Support Project (ASP). The ASP provides autism-specific training to first responders, helping ensure safer and more informed interactions with individuals on the spectrum. As a valuable resource for both families and community sites, ASP can offer recommendations on safety plans for vehicles, residences, travel concerns and business interactions. ASP also offers window decals for your vehicle informing first responders of the presence of a passenger with autism. In addition, the ASP offers education and training for parents and community partners, further supporting our mission of creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students. Autism Collier Charter School is grateful for the ongoing support and partnership of NAMI Collier County. As a long-time advocate for Autism Collier’s nonprofit efforts, NAMI Collier has hosted our support groups and community education events, helping to strengthen and support families across Collier County.
