At Autism Collier Charter School, volunteers play an essential role in creating meaningful experiences for our students. Whether you’re assisting in a classroom, supporting an event, or sharing a special skill, your time and presence help our students grow, connect, and thrive. No matter your background or schedule, there are many ways to get involved and make a real difference.

No. We’ll provide simple, effective strategies you can use right away
2. How often can I volunteer?
As often as you’d like—some come weekly, others monthly or for special events.
3. Can family members volunteer?Yes! Parents/guardians are welcome (screening still required).What about court-ordered service?We review on a case-by-case basis; certain offenses are not eligible.Will I get documentation for hours?Absolutely. We sign off on service logs and Bright Futures forms.

Volunteer Essentials:

Age: 16+ (Bright Futures and service-learning hours approved).

Time Commitment: Flexible; many roles are 45–90 minutes.

Dress: Comfortable, school-appropriate; closed-toe shoes recommended.

Confidentiality: Student information and photos are private (no posting/student names).

Safety: Follow staff directions, campus check-in/out, and badge procedures.
